Vortex Booster Pumps Solar Brushless Self Priming Booster Pumps

Vortex pump (also known as vortex pump), its main working mechanism includes an impeller (a disc with radial blades on the outer edge), a pump body and a ring flow channel composed of a pump cover, a pump body and an impeller. The liquid enters the flow channel from the suction tube, obtains energy through the rotating impeller, and is transported to the discharge tube to complete the working process of the pump.

The Basic Orinciple of The Vortex Pump
The vortex pump is a relatively simple pump. Its basic working principle: through the unidirectional rotation of the fluid mechanics principle to achieve the purpose of pumping water. The axial direction of the vortex pump is provided with a plurality of spiral impellers, and the water forms a vortex around the spiral impellers, thus forming a low pressure area, so that the water is pumped up.

The Structure of the Vortex Pump
Vortex pump is usually composed of pump body, pump shaft, impeller, turbine chamber, inlet and outlet flange, motor and so on. Vortex pump impeller is geometrically flat, usually a back curved shell structure, shell type water outlet inclined downward, so that water is not easy to flow back to the pump chamber. At the same time, the motor of the vortex pump is also specially designed to withstand the instantaneous starting current and the thermal load of continuous operation.

The Application Field of Vortex Pump
Because of the simple working principle and long life of the pump, it has a wide range of applications in industry, agriculture, municipal construction and other fields. Whirlpool pumps can handle slightly dirty liquids and are suitable for transporting non-viscous clean liquids such as pure water or air. In agriculture, vortex pumps are mainly used in farmland irrigation, agricultural drainage, aquaculture and other fields.

Vortex Pump Advantages

1. The vortex pump is a very simple structure of high head pump, and the same size, the same number of revolutions compared to the centrifugal pump, its head is 2-4 times higher. Compared with the positive displacement pump of the same head, its size is smaller and its structure is simple. Vortex pump has great advantages in Marine installations because of its small size and light weight.

2. With self-priming ability or with the help of a simple device to achieve self-priming.

3. It has a steep drop head characteristic curve, so it is not sensitive to pressure fluctuations in the system.

4. Some vortex pumps can achieve steam and liquid mixed transport. This is of great significance for pumping volatile liquids containing gases and high temperature liquids with high vaporization pressure.

5. Vortex pump structure is simple, casting and processing technology are easy to achieve, some vortex pump parts can also use non-metallic materials, such as plastic, nylon molded impeller.
