Product Advantages
1. Fast response: Opens within 0.2s when overpressure occurs, effectively avoiding blower burnout.
2. Steady & adjustable pressure: Pressure setting can be fine-tuned via the central bolt, stable relief without frequent chattering.
3. Durable aluminum housing: CNC integrated machining, high strength, anti-rust, light weight for blower use.
4. Good sealing performance: High-quality O-ring seal, low air leakage under rated working pressure.
5. Simple installation & maintenance: Thread direct mount structure, easy to replace spring and seal parts on site.
6. Wide compatibility: Fit centrifugal fan, vortex ring blower, roots blower, pneumatic conveying, aeration system.
7. Compact size, small occupation, low cost for blower safety upgrade.
Working Principle
The valve works based on spring balance principle. Under normal operating condition, spring preload presses the valve disc tightly for sealing. When internal air pressure rises higher than the preset spring force, air pressure overcomes spring tension, pushes the valve disc open, and releases surplus air to atmosphere to reduce pipeline pressure. When pressure drops below the set value, spring force pushes the disc back to close the valve automatically, the blower returns to normal working state.
Application Scenarios
Maintenance Instructions
1. Regular inspection: Check for air leakage, valve stuck or abnormal noise every 1~3 months according to working environment.
2. Keep clean: Prevent dust, debris, fiber from entering the valve cavity to avoid jamming the valve disc.
3. Seal replacement: Replace O-ring when aging, cracking or obvious air leakage appears.
4. Spring check: If pressure offset is too large or the valve fails to reset, replace the matching spring.
5. Do not adjust pressure beyond the spring’s pressure range, which will cause spring fatigue failure.
6. For corrosive gas environment, customize stainless steel version and fluorine rubber seal.
Spare Parts
Acceptance & Inspection
1. Check part number, brand marking, certification mark on product
2. Power on wiring test: confirm normal standby status, indicator light works
3. Smoke test: trigger alarm signal and feedback to fire panel correctly
4. Check appearance without crack, deformation, water damage
5. Documents: CO, test certificate, declaration of conformity provided together
Important Notes
1. This is an air relief valve for low-pressure clean gas only. Not suitable for liquid, steam, high-pressure vessels or strong
corrosive gas without custom material.
2. Adjust the pressure within the rated range of the matched spring. Excessive preload will shorten spring service life or cause
failure.
3. It is a safety limiting component for blowers, not a pressure stabilizing regulating valve for precise constant pressure control.
4. Regular maintenance is required in dusty working conditions to avoid debris jamming the valve spool.
FAQ
Q1: Is this valve for water or air?
A1: This relief valve is designed for clean air and non-corrosive gas only, NOT suitable for liquid, steam or corrosive gas without customized material.
Q2: Can I change the relief pressure?
A2: Yes. Adjust the central bolt to change spring preload to set target pressure. We also supply different springs for different pressure ranges.
Q3: Do I need power supply for this valve?
A3: No power required. It is fully mechanical spring operated safety valve. Q3:阀门需要供电吗?
Q4: Where should I install this valve?
A4: Install on blower outlet pipeline /air outlet port, best to mount close to blower for fast overpressure protection.
Q5: What thread size do you have in stock?
A5: Regular stock: G1/2, G3/4, G1, G1-1/4, G1-1/2, G2. NPT thread available by custom order.
