Marine Purifier and Marine Oil Purifier

The oil separator is a centrifugal precipitation equipment, the role is to separate the impurity particles and water in the oil to be separated, the basic principle is to use the small gap between the separation disc and the centrifugal force of the oil separator to separate the impurity particles and water and other dense components.

The oil separator is divided into lubricating oil separator and fuel oil separator.
In Marine power plants, the fuel oil and lubricating oil used contain moisture and solid impurities, which will affect the operation and service life of the machine.
The fuel into the diesel engine contains moisture and impurities, which aggravate the wear of the injector, decrease the atomization quality of the fuel, and worsen the combustion.
The moisture and impurities in the lubricating oil destroy the formation of the oil film between the moving parts and accelerate the movement and wear of the parts.

Fuel and lubricating oil in the transportation and storage process, will mix with some moisture rust and sand and other impurities, while the use of lubricating oil contained wear produced by metal chips also increase with the use of time, therefore, it must be purified to ensure the reliable operation of the power plant, and extend its service life. Especially in order to reduce operating costs and burn heavy diesel stone residual oil ships, oil purification facilities are essential, there are three common purification methods.

1 Filtration: It can only purify coarse impurities in the oil, so it can only be used as an auxiliary purification. Devices with different filtration accuracy can be selected to meet different requirements.
2 Gravity precipitation: is the use of oil, water, solid particle density is different, standing in the sedimentation cabinet, to achieve purification and separation.
3 Centrifugal separation: It is to let the oil rotate at high speed in the separation cylinder, because the specific gravity of oil and water impurities is different, so the centrifugal force is not the same to achieve separation, from the inside to the outside in turn for oil, water and impurities.

How It Works:
The prime mover (motor) drives the big gear to rotate through the transmission device, and the pinion converts the horizontal rotation of the prime mover into the high-speed rotary movement of the vertical shaft separation cylinder, the separation cylinder is installed in a group of separation discs, the disc spacing is about 1mm, the dirty oil is separated in the disc under the action of centrifugal force, the external is a larger impurity, the middle is water, and the internal is a smaller proportion of oil.

This Marine Three Phase Induction Motor Purifier Oil Separator is designed for use in both Marine Fuel Oil Purifier and Marine Lubricating Oil Purifier systems on ships. It is applied as a core separation unit to support clean fuel oil and lubricating oil supply for marine engines and auxiliary machinery.
In purifier systems, it serves as an essential device to improve oil quality and maintain stable operation of ship power plants.

System Role in F.O. PURIFIER and L.O. PURIFIER Systems
In a F.O. PURIFIER (Ship Fuel Oil Purifier) system, this oil separator is used to process fuel oil before it enters the engine fuel supply system. Cleaned fuel oil helps maintain combustion efficiency and protects injection components.
In an L.O. PURIFIER (Ship Lubricating Oil Purifier) system, the separator supports the purification of lubricating oil used in main engines, auxiliary engines, and other mechanical equipment, helping to maintain lubrication quality during continuous operation.

Application Scope
This purifier oil separator is widely used in:
· Ship Fuel Oil Purifier systems for engine fuel preparation
· Marine Fuel Oil Purifier installations in commercial vessels
· Ship Lubricating Oil Purifier systems for lubrication oil maintenance
· Marine Lubricating Oil Purifier systems in engine rooms and machinery spaces
It is suitable for vessels that require stable oil treatment performance in long-term marine operation.

Position in Purifier Parts System
This oil separator is a main equipment unit within Fuel Oil Purifier Parts and Lubricating Oil Purifier Parts systems. It works together with control systems, piping, valves and auxiliary devices to form a complete purifier installation.
For ship maintenance and spare parts supply, it is treated as a critical purifier component that directly affects the performance of both fuel and lubricating oil treatment processes.

Why This Oil Separator
· Designed for both fuel oil and lubricating oil purification systems
· Suitable for F.O. PURIFIER and L.O. PURIFIER applications
· Supports stable operation of marine engine oil systems
· Plays a key role in Fuel Oil Purifier Parts and Lubricating Oil Purifier Parts configuration
· Suitable for shipyards, vessel maintenance, and purifier system replacement projects
