Working Principle
Power Supply System
Marine wide voltage power enters through explosion-proof sealed cable gland to prevent combustible gas entering lamp body. Built-in isolated explosion-proof constant current driver converts AC/DC high voltage into stable low DC constant current for LED chips, with multiple circuit protections against ship grid voltage fluctuation.
Flameproof Explosion-proof Principle
Separate flameproof cavity for light source and power driver with precise machined flameproof joint surface. Internal sparks/flames are cooled and extinguished via narrow flameproof gap, unable to ignite flammable gas outside the lamp housing. The whole sealed structure avoids gas permeation into internal cavity.
Heat Dissipation Principle
LED aluminum substrate closely fits integrated aluminum heat sink housing. Heat generated by LED chips is quickly conducted to circular hollow radiating fins, dissipated via natural air convection & sea wind, controlling working temperature to protect LED chips and sealing rubber rings.
Maintenance Instructions
Daily Inspection (Every Shift)
Check housing for cracks, deformation, peeling paint or corrosion; ensure flameproof joint surface and silicone seal ring intact without aging crack.
Clean salt dirt & oil blockage on heat sink fins to guarantee heat dissipation efficiency.
Inspect cable gland for tight sealing without water seepage, cable outer skin no wear.
Power on test: no flicker, abnormal high temperature or burnt smell.
Regular Maintenance (Monthly Routine / Dock Overhaul Deep Maintenance)
Cut off power and cool down the lamp completely before any maintenance (Never open the lamp with electricity).
Clean housing and lens with fresh water + neutral marine desalting cleaner, soft cloth only (No steel wool or strong acid detergent).
Polish rust spots, re-spray marine anti-corrosion paint on damaged coating areas.
Lubricate bracket fixing bolts with anti-rust grease to avoid salt fog locking.
Replace aging silicone sealing rings every 6 months to maintain IP66 & explosion-proof performance.
If LED flickering or dark light occurs, replace LED light board or explosion-proof driver with same model spare parts.
